Using jump rings, attach toggle pieces to ends of chain.
Cut a 7” length of wire. String ends through buttonholes from front to back, so the button is in the center of the wire. Hold the button inside the teardrop component. Wrap one wire 3-4 times around bottom of teardrop. Trim wire. Pull wire tightly. Wrap other end of wire 3-4 times through bottom loop of component. Trim wire. Repeat with six more buttons.
Cut a 4” length of wire. String three seed beads to the center. String ends through buttonholes of yellow button. Twist wires together on back of button. Trim wires. Repeat for second yellow button.
Use jump rings to attach teardrops to links of necklace. Space evenly.
Earring Instructions:
Cut a 7” length of wire. String ends through buttonholes from front to back, so the button is in the center of the wire. Hold button below teardrop component. Wrap one end of wire 3-4 times around bottom of teardrop. Trim wire. String 7-8 seed beads on other end of wire. Wrap other end of wire 3-4 times in bottom loop of component. Trim wire.
Open loop on earwire. Attach to teardrop. Close loop.
Repeat steps 1-2 for second earring.
Tips:
Refer to photo for placement and assembly.
Increase or decrease length of chain as desired.
For extra strength, use two jump rings to attach each side of toggle clasp.
Add seed beads to all buttons, if desired.
Using a jump ring: use two pair of pliers, grab ends of jump rings on either side of cut. Twist ring open. Place in chain link. Twist ring tightly closed.
