Supplies:
  • Organic Elements Buttons: #2714 (1 card), #2724 (3 cards), #2718 (4 cards)
  • Brown shirt
  • Assorted 5-6mm glass beads: yellow/turquoise/green/ivory/red
  • Assorted E beads
  • 9mm jump ring
  • 5 - 3” headpins
  • Drill and smallest drill bit
  • Needle and thread
  • Round nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • 2 chain nose pliers

Instructions:
  1. Drill one hole in red flower button.
  2. Make five bead dangles of different lengths. Open jump ring. Place bead dangles on open jump ring. Place through hole in red flower button. Twist jump ring closed.
  3. Stack red flower button and yellow flower button. Stitch to shirt.
  4. Along neckline of shirt, stitch the following, alternating:
    • Grouping of 4-5 beads
    • Stacked buttons: yellow sunflower and yellow flower
Tips:
  • Refer to photo for placement.
  • When drilling holes in the button, be sure not to drill in farther than the diameter of jump ring.
  • Using a jump ring: grab ends of jump ring at either side of cut with pliers. Twist ring open. String through drilled hole in button. Twist tightly closed.
  • Make bead dangle: string beads on headpin. Bend pin at 90-degree angle just above top bead. Trim end of pin to ½”. Grab end of pin with round nose pliers. Roll back toward beads, forming a loop.
  • Stitch buttons to shirt according to design of shirt.
