Measure front, sides, back and top of box. Cut yellow paper to fit box top. Cut paper of your choice to fit sides. Glue in place.
Measure and cut paper of choice 1” smaller in width and length than yellow paper. Glue centered on top.
Glue red ribbon around sides of box. Glue royal and yellow ribbons on top of lid, extending down the backside.
Make 6 stacks of two small buttons of different colors. Make 1 stack of 2 medium size buttons of different colors. Make 5 stacks of 3 buttons using all size buttons. Tie button stacks together with floss, knotting on back.
Glue pencil to lid.
Glue 2 large button stacks to the ends of the ribbons on back of the box. Glue remaining button stacks to box as shown.
