The Collection by La Mode®: #4510 (3 cards), #4511 (1 card), #4512 (1 card)
Black dress
2 yards 2 ½” black satin ribbon
Black satin fabric
Black tulle
Scissors
Needle and black thread
Fabri-Tac™ glue
Circle template
White chalk pencil
Instructions:
For each fabric rosette: Trace and cut 8 3” circles, 6 2 ½” circles and 3 2” circles. Cut some of the fabric and some tulle. Fold a 3” circle in half. Fold in half again, adding a dot of glue at the fold point to hold it in a fan shape petal. Repeat with all circles.
Glue a long petal to dress. The point of the fan will be the center of the circle. Repeat with 3 more petals, starting the circle. Layer 4 more petals on top of that, continuing to glue in the center of the flower. Add medium length petals next, with shortest petals on top. Tulle petals will add dimension.
Stitch through petals to secure rosette to dress. Stitch button to center of rosette. Make four rosettes on dress.
Tie ribbon around waist for belt.
Stitch remaining buttons on dress and belt as desired.
